WoW: Legendary Cloak Ranking in patch 8.3

Patch 8.3 has introduced a new legendary item that greatly boosts proficiency in PvE and PvP content alike. The new legendary cloak is called Ashjra’kamas, Shroud of Resolve. It is obtained through the quite long new introductory questline that can stretch up to two hours. But after completing the said questline, you will unlock all the content of the patch, including the new legendary item. The cloak itself has many benefits that come with it, including an evolving item level with each new rank, very strong proc buff for 15 seconds and a corruption resistance. The last one is tied down to the new mechanic attached to newly dropping gear – it can get corrupted, which will add a new benefiting buff to it. It could be a simple stat buff, or a unique effect that will rain down tyranny over your enemies with insane damage! But these amazing new effects are balanced with a catch – these corrupted items also have a negative effect, which when stacked enough can kill your character in seconds! “How do I counter this drawback of the power spike” you say? This is where the new legendary cloak comes in.

With each rank, Ashjra’kamas, Shroud of Resolve gets new talents and corruption resistance that will allow you to wear as many corrupted items as you want with almost no negative effects what-so-ever! But, in order to level legendary cloak rank you need to Horrific Visions. It is a new PvE game mode that requires you to defeat certain elite enemies inside a probable future of Azeroth, where the world is consumed by N’zoth (hence the name). You can also earn even more experience for your cloak by enabling modifiers that will make your run a bit harder. All this will go for legendary cloak rank leveling and increasing its corruption resistance.

But you can’t just start runs of Horrific Visions whenever you please! You require a whooping 10,000 of new currency called Coalescing Visions to obtain Vessel of Horrific Visions to enter the game mode. It is obtained through new assaults orchestrated by N’Zoth in Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms. For finishing one assault you’ll get one said Vessel and 2,500 of said currency for your character. You can get that reward one time each week, allowing you to freely run at least one Horrific Vision every reset. You can also get 6,500 Coalescing Visions for clearing non-N’zoth assaults, but this reward is obtainable on biweekly reset. There are also Mini-Visions that will grant you 1,500 of currency daily, and seven assault daily quests with each rewarding 375 Coalescing Visions per day. Doing everything listed above will grant you three Vessels of Horrific Visions a week!

We hope you got a good grasp on the new BFA system and ready to conquer new content!
