Back in the First Century A.D. when the book of The Bible was first said to have written. It began the journey of what is today called “The Holy Scripture”, brought upon the world by the Christian religion and purports to tell the history of the Earth, from the earliest of creations to the spread of the Christianity religion, both old and new Testaments (sections of the book) were included in it and are still a part of it till today.
This book has undergone variations changes since its original version and the publication of the first King James version in 1611, which was then without all the additional books that have been added to it since then. There are two sections to the book which have been discussed below.
When the books were first in the making, it was created for most recipients to experience it with their ears. it was the sermons on the mounds that were being told to people and who had to listen tentatively, and it was the apostle Paul’s letter that was read out loud for people to listen to them and for the local church communities to receive them audibly.
Reading the books only came later when they were published in vast amounts are spread across the churched, book stores and various regions of the world for those interested to access them, before this, the majority of the population would listen to lecturers, sermons, talks in churches and conferences about the content in them.
This is one of the best ways to experience the Bible, reading can sometimes take your mind off all the rest of the sense, but when listening you tend to use your eyes, smell, touch, feelings, and emotions all at the same time. Nowadays there are many ways to do this in the busy world, so you do not lose the chance of getting to know the Bible.
It is in this literature that we come to know about the abbreviations of Latin terms used till today, A.D. which stands for “Anno Domini” which means “the year of the Lord”, and B.C. which refers to “Before Christ”, and were labels for the years in both the Gregorian and Julian Calendars. Often placed before the number, for instance,6th centuryB.C or just 6 B.C.
The Two Books of The Bible
As mentioned above there are two main sections to the book, namely the Old Testament and the New one.

It also included stories about Moses, fishing, and how the Jews were being expelledto a place called “Babylon”. It is a very similar version to the HebrewBible, which is the ancient religion of Judaism which is a monotheistic religion and the world oldest, said to be dating back over 4000 years ago. This history of this religion is based on the understanding of the Jewish faith and incorporatesthe concepts of tradition, the law, and its culture intertwined into it. A fascinating read as well.
According to the old testament, the first known mention of Judaism in the bible was the mention of Israel in an Egyptian inscription from the 13th century B.C.” Yahweh” the Jewish god was inscribed concerning the famous King od Moab in the 9th century B.C.
According to historians, the consensus was that this testament began to take form during the reign of during the 8th century B.C. when Hezekiah of Judah was present. At this time two books were added namely Judges and Deuteronomy. After which the final version was developed about 200 years after. This is comprised of various books besides the two mentioned above, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, number, Samuel (1 and 2), Kings (1 & 2), to name a few.
The New Testament. The second part of the bible was the New Testament. This tells the story of the extraordinary life of Jesus Chris, the religious leader whose teachings and life history were recorded in ithttps://www.biography.com/religious-figure/jesus-christ, he is the main figure in Christianity and is said to be the incarnation of God himself and is followed by many Christians worldwide till today.
Paul, one of Jesus’s disciples made the greatest effort to spread the teachings and as a result, there are 27 books in total, that were written originally in Greek. From all the disciples such as Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter, and then a chapter on “Acts”, Romans, Colossians, Galatians, to name a few.
This section concerning Jesus was written almost 40 years ago by the earliest Christians and is called the “Gospels” which comprised of letters from Pal know as the “Epistles”. These were dispersed by the churches at the time, during the 50A.D., before his death, and were copied by scribes who were responsible for keeping them in circulation and spreading the information, which was called “the word”.
When this was happening, people got more and more interested, and this is when the oral word began to spread in churches and institutions, which were then starting to be preached by pastors and priests all over the world. They began to teach its audience and those who were keen to learn, all about Jesus, his teachings, and the most notable accounts of his resurrection and post-resurrection instances.
These letters that Paul wrote were first-hand accounts of Jesus, however, he never knew Jesus and related these from visions he had.

From sitting around trees and mounds to sitting inside churches and now to be in the comfort of your own home listening to the stories and recollections in the Bible via daily bible audio, one could never have imagined that technology and ancient manuscripts and scriptures would ever see the light of day and go hand in hand. But its been done. Thanks to the genius of many inventors and nerds, there are countless ways anyone can access the book, and any related literature first hand to listen to it and gain an understandingof the world that existed before time itself.
